Alli - What is it?

I have read more than I need to know about diet drugs you can get from the doctor. If you really have tried everything and they do work for you, then go for it. If you have not really put that much effort into it, then keep trying. The drugs out there have nasty side effects that I would not wish on anyone.

Look at this one and tell me if you would like to take it.

Alli is the fancy name to make it sound appealing, the real name is "orlistat." Here are some quotes for you to digest!

"Take orlistat during or within 1 hour after a meal that contains some fat (no more than 30% of the calories for that meal). Orlistat is usually taken 3 times daily. If you skip a meal or you eat a meal that does not contain any fat, skip your orlistat dose for that meal. The fat content of your daily diet should not be greater than 30% of your total daily caloric intake. Avoid a diet that is high in fat. High-fat meals taken in combination with orlistat can increase your risk of unpleasant side effects on your stomach or intestines. "

"This medication can make it harder for your body to absorb fat-soluble vitamins, such as vitamins A, D, E, and K. "

"Do not take this medication if you are allergic to orlistat, or if you have:
chronic malabsorption syndrome (an inability to absorb food and nutrients properly); or

gallbladder problems.

Before taking orlistat, tell your doctor if you are allergic to any drugs, or if you have:

an underactive thyroid;

a history of kidney stones;

a history of pancreatitis;

type 1 or type 2 diabetes;

an eating disorder (anorexia or bulimia); or

if you take any other weight-loss medications (prescription or over-the-counter).

If you have any of these conditions, you may not be able to use orlistat, or you may need a dosage adjustment or special tests during treatment."

It gets even better!! HERE ARE THE SIDE EFFECTS!!

"oily spotting in your undergarments;

oily or fatty stools;

orange or brown colored oil in your stool;

gas with discharge, an oily discharge;

loose stools, or an urgent need to go to the bathroom, inability to control bowel movements;

an increased number of bowel movements; or

stomach pain, nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, rectal pain."

Beginning Steroid Use

Ok, I admit, I really do not want to be portrayed as PRO-STEROID, but for the amount of people posting on the message boards across the nation there is a need for real information.

Steroids do not magically transform your body into the Incredible Hulk. You still need to eat properly, you need to watch your blood chemistry like a hawk, and you need to bust your ass harder in the gym every day. You only get out what you put in. So, if you are not prepared to put the hours in the gym, and accept the risk of injury and infection following steroid use.....save the thousands of dollars it will cost you and buy a Bowflex and protein powder.

Do it right, get the information, the proper information and make sure you follow the instruction from professional steroid guru`s and not the guy in the back of the gym. An experienced bio-chemist would be a good start. Here is a good place to start your reading. Spends months learning the chemistry and what is happening in the body when you take these products.

Good luck.

With the impending season of eat, eat, eat upon us, I challenge you to join me on the opposite. Let's get lean for Christmas! That will allow you to eat for the Christmas and New Years day celebrations and not worry about gaining a pound or two.

6 small meals a day, keep it to 300-400 calories. Increase your water intake to 3 liters or more per day. 4 days of cardio for 30-45 minutes at medium intensity and throw in 3 days of weight training. That's the secret recipe and my Christmas present to you.

New Product Alert: Nutrabolics Fighter's Food

It's not everyday a truly innovative product hits the market with enough merit to be worth mentioning. Nutrabolics has always produced great products and this one takes the cake. Again, remember that I get NO COMMISSION recommending any products, I just pass the word.

The link is above so you can check out this product.

Protein, carbs, little fat and lots of freeze dried exracts from berries and vegetables. A very complete product that will help anyone's progress. The better the product, the better the result. The price is not that bad, but it could be better. I still would like to see it at about $39.99 for a regular everyday price.

If they are selling it for $44.99 with a MSRP of $72.99, they have room to move on the price. Sell a great product at a great price and the volume will take care of the profit margin.

Check it out, try it and let me know how you liked it! I always forward comments to the manufacturers and distributors of the products.
